Learnt how to make this small orange in about 3 or 4 mins. Didn't know that it's so simple! Haha! Complete making 1 packet of 10 in about an hour time. I tried making slightly bigger ones too, will take picture and post up soon =D

Time Consuming Xmas Present Part 2

This is more time consuming than Part 1. The big cardholder took me about a day to complete one, smaller one can be done like within 1 hour provided that the vinyl weave has already been cut into required sizes. Cross stitching presents are actually cheap but the workmanship can cost a lot as not all have the patience to complete it. Half of it shown here was for my siblings and their S.O. Hope they are happy with their presents too. And of course, the kids got 1 of their favorite angry bird each. Glad even the young ones appreciate my hard work.

A Japanese cartoon character. Seriously, the time when I really get to know this character is when one of my friends ask me to make this for his daughter! Gosh... Think I'm old already. So I went to search around for Anpanman's picture online, and I made this. Glad that his daughter love it ^-^ When people receive my product with happiness, it makes me even more happier! I also search around in Youtube for the cartoon and I agree with my friend that the cartoon is cute.

Angry Birds Family & Enemy

Yes!!! Finally got a set of Angry Birds and of course their enemy! Haha! All the angry birds are of similar sizes as it will be given to my niece, nephews as gift. If they are of different sizes, I think the kids will quarrel, lol. It's about 4cm to 6cm big, not very small but good enough to hang on bag. Takes me about half a day to complete 1 piece, I'm not a fast stitch-er, so it's patience and passion that made me complete every single piece. ^-^

Angry Birds with my toy "DanDan"

That brown colour toy is a Danboard, I call it DanDan, it is my model too~ for my handicraft products. I manage to make 1 yellow angry bird~! After I finish the yellow one then I realize that the red Angry Bird is so much bigger when it came from the same cross stitch series. Gosh, I'm still not so powerful to draft out my own cross stitch chart, but still I think it's cute. =x

This is the first Angry Birds I made. Nowadays kids are being brainwashed by angry birds, any kids with ipad or iphone in the family will know this bird. They can even tell you which colour of Angry Birds they like. So, I try to find the chart and make for them as part of their Christmas gift. Had to start early as I need to make 2 Yellow, 1 Red & 1 Black Angry Birds and 7 other handmade stuffs for family. Hope can finish on time with the fact that my house is renovating and everything is in a mess... =_=

First time making a long wallet using vinyl weave. Bought the package from Gmarket, and started the project around 2nd week of July. Took me about 3 weeks to complete, not easy.. as about 3/4 of the wallet surface need to be stitched. However, the vinyl weave and thread are of good quality. Worse of all, I realize I forgot to sew the button to close it!!! ZZZZZ... only to realize this after I finished sewing all the pieces of vinyl weave together... sotong me! However, I'm still happy with the end product! =D Might be making another long wallet soon.. =D

This Eeyore is a killer~! Took me half of the day to complete it not counting the time when I did 1/4 and gave up cause it's complicated! I re-beaded a lot of times! I think the 2nd time will be better, also will use a lighter colour for the nose & stomach. Did a Tigger-lookalike, now Eeyore.. so must find a cute Winnie the Pooh. I did Piglet before, but I lost the photo, will find time to do again. =D Next time will take photo of the whole "family". Hee hee~

Clay Lesson on 23 of April

Went for my 2nd clay lesson after quite some time, and this time round I've learn to make fruits using Japanese clay. It's fun~! I bet I will go for a third time! Haha~ Above is my masterpiece of the 2nd lesson, can't really control the colour well yet as colour is added into the clay and not colouring it after it hardens. As teacher says the colour will get darker when it dries, I don't dare to add too much of the colour, so the colour is a bit off. But I believe I will get better! =D

The one I saw in the shop was made with crystal, ultimately nice & blink blink! However, it will be too ex if I were to make it in crystal, so this is acrylic beads, but I think it's just as nice. =D

Beaded Adorable Cat or Marie Look-A-Like

This cat nearly killed my eyes and patience... It's DIFFICULT!!! But the sense of fulfillment was good after I see the end result. I was suppose to make a Marie Cat, but due to the unclear instruction picture, I had no choice but to find another alternative. This is a simpler version of the original Marie Cat, it is kinda cute too though. I manage to find a book in the NLB website which have the original Marie Cat instruction, already made a reservation to collect it when it's available. Hope there are no missing pages as the current book that my sister borrowed from Marine Parade library got missing pages =_= AND THE MARIE CAT BELONGS TO ONE OF THE MISSING PAGES!!!!

Beaded Little Tiger or Tigger Look-A-Like?

Saw this little cutie hanging in the display cabinet of the handicraft shop and so I ask the shop owner to teach me how to do it~ lolx~ He took out a piece of paper and started to draw out the steps. I started working on it soon after I reach home. And to my surprise, the drawing stopped at the end of the body!! No instructions on legs & hands and the face!!! haha... tried to figure it out on my own for the legs.. but failed.. was too tired. So I brought along the beads to the shop and ask uncle to teach me on the spot.. haha.. After the legs and face, I managed to figure out the hands on my own.
I let my mum see, she say must add some whiskers then will look nicer. So, I added it~ true enough, it do look abit more cuter~ =D Will make one more to put on top of my monitor~ haha~ scare the dogs on my monitor away.. haha!!

A gathering of dogs!! Haha, this is one of my customer's order - 15 miniature dogs. Got repeated design with different colors. There's Cocker Spaniel, Saint Bernerd, Poodle, Maltese, Bloodhound etc. Realize that unless I wanted the dog to be appeared as having dyed fur, I can only choose to use Brown, White, Black, or Orange as the body color, not much choice. Maybe next time I will try colorful ones.. lol.. all went salon for makeover! keke~ Love it! Especially Maltese, Cocker Spaniel & Poodle, ultimately cute~~~~

My sister actually borrow beadings books from library and let me browse through to see if there's nice design~ I immediately fell in love in these doggies!! My sister loves it too after I show her.. she even wanted to order from me. Keke~ Anyway, I made 4 doggies, and I sold the black one yesterday after I show it to one of my colleagues. I sold another one today. Great! *kiss the doggies* By the way, the triple As batteries are for comparison of size. Maybe I'll make one group of doggies and display it on top of my monitor.. haha~

This is challenging... I'm totally clueless if there's no instruction to tell me which is the 1st to last piece. The instruction only show the individual pieces in sequence, not step by step instruction, so still have to roughly figure where the piece goes to. Interesting puzzle and very nice final product~ The key really can twist and turn to open the cover! Love it~! ^0^

Shiroi Koibito

Finally got my long waited Shiroi Koibito (白い恋人). Fell in love with it the first time I tasted it. Was very excited when I knew the Hokkaido Fair in Tampines will be selling it this year, but!!! It was all sold out early in the morning!!! ARRRGHHH, so I didn't manage to get any.. sad.. Luckily my friend's colleague went Japan, so managed to ask him/her to buy back for me. The packaging is nice one lor~ and the container as well. Not to say the cookie was super tasty~!! My whole family love it too!!! I'm not "fishmonger", I share it with people~~ So, I never regret buying it even though it was not cheap~ Haha~ Will still ask friend to help buy if they are going to Japan. Keke.

After I learn some basic skills from the lesson I took, I went to buy clay, paintbrush & acrylic paint, so I can practice on my own. when I open the clay packaging yesterday, I got a shock as the clay was blue in colour instead of white which I use during my basic course. Well, I just had to use it since I've bought it... So, I begin to mould out the shape of the food I wanted, then let it air dry. Come to painting part - The colours are so off...doesn't really tally with the colour that I had in mind!! *faint* one more time... What to do? No choice, still have to use it... who tell me to buy it because it's cheap.... =_= However, even though all these happened, I'm still happy with the outcome. =D Will try to make more things on my own ^-^

This bride is really not an easy task to do. From 3pm till around 9pm at the shop, I only managed to finish the body and around 3/4 of the dress. Went back home, took a rest and bath before continuing the dress and adding in the hands and veil. I only managed to complete the bride at around 2am in the morning... I added on the "diamonds" to the weil the following day to make it look more nicer. Though it was a tough job, but I was very happy when I've completed it! Think must find another day to do the groom, if not the bride will be very lonely.

Saw this horse in the display cabinet when I went to buy beads 2 weeks ago. Then I remembered that I actually have a beading book that show how to make this horse. So I tried to make one last week. Amazingly... there's counting error in the beads, counting error in the instruction table and it ends after I've completed the head, body & legs!! I flip the pages a few more times only to realize that the pages that shows how to make the tail etc... was really not inside!! zzzz... Luckily I got download the complete instruction into my PC from a forum last time. The book ended up into the rubbish bin over the weekend. Luckily it cost less than $10.

Fell in love with this box when I first saw it in a forum and was surprise that this box (base & cover) only uses 1 piece of A4 size paper! I make the big one with A4 size paper and then started to make another box with half of A4 size paper and so on. The brown color is the smallest I can go at the moment. Kawasaki Rose

Always find it amazing when people use a piece of paper to fold a nice rose. The name of this origami rose is called Kawasaki Rose. It look sooooooo nice when there's a lot of it in a bottle, really look like real roses! So, I tried making one, it's not really an easy job making such small one especially when I have sweaty palm. My colleagues has been asking me if I know how to make a multi-slot card holder. Previously I did one small card holder for my mini debit card, so I was thinking maybe I can create what they've requested. Since 2 of the female colleagues asked me, might as well make for all the female colleagues. If it's for them, then of course definitely it must be personalized with their name. I start to draw out the arrangement of the letters on graph paper to make sure that it will look nice on the real thing before I started stitching. Oh, by the way, this card holder is made using vinyl weave (rubber kind of material), so it's more durable than Aida cloth ^-^

LV Cross Stitch Wallet

I bought this from a Hong Kong online store, it's a D.I.Y cross stitch wallet set. Found it very cute, haha~ it look even nicer when I complete the actual thing. Before I received the package via mail, I thought that the set comes with everything nicely cut into the correct shape and sizes.. but to my surprise... it's one big piece of black plastic canvas!!! And the measurements given are in "X" number of squares by "X" number of squares, I end up counting every now and then to get the correct sizes.. Duhz~ but never mind, the outcome was a satisfactory one. LoL~

Hoho, this was done around CNY too, after making pineapple tarts. As pineapple tarts only need the egg yolks, hence always leaving behind a lot of egg whites. In order not to waste the egg whites as my mum seldom cook nowadays, I make some small cakes that needs only egg whites, sugar and flour. Taste like "鸡蛋糕" without the egg yolk taste..haha~

Was baking pineapple tarts for so many weeks till CNY ended. One of my colleagues says the crust of the pineapple tart was nice and she requested for the tart without the pineapple paste. Well, I did as she told, but was thinking "will the tart taste nice at the same size without the pineapple paste?" I'm also afraid that the tart will taste dry... So I decided to make the dough thinner and I took out some cookie cutters and start cutting out different shapes from the dough. Surprisingly, the cookie's taste was not bad, my niece and nephew love them! Haha~ My colleague loves it as well~

Since I'm unable to find a wallet that will meet my requirements, I think I'll just have to make one myself. I used my old wallet as a guide and cut the cloth accordingly to the size of the old wallet before I start to search for a picture that fits in the size of the wallet. The above picture is the end product of my handmade wallet, the side stitching is a little messy due to the thickness of the cloth. This wallet took me around 2 weeks to complete, tough project. However, this is my first time making a wallet, I'm still quite satisfied with it, lolx.

Valentine's Day Gift

HOHO~~~ It's again the time of the year for me to celebrate Friendship Day~!~~!~! This is the gift that my colleagues and friends got from me. Ladies got their initials in pink with black background and the guys got the blue with black background. I gave the gifts out yesterday since today is Friday the 13th =x haha~ The gift is wrap up in a translucent draw string pouch, together with a Ferrero Rocher choclate. Eh, I just think that Valentine's Day must have chocolate lah, don't know why also... think I also got influenced by the Japan's Culture ba... haha~ Though no one give me any gifts this year, but I'm very happy that they all like my gifts! Been quite some time since I last stitch... lolx~ Did a lot of beadings recently till never stitch. Wanted to have a pouch for my NDSL which can put in all the things I need for my DS, but unable to find one that meet my requirements.... So~ I've decided to make one myself! It's not really an easy job, because this is the first time trying to sew a zip to the end product. From taking the measurements to choosing the picture to the end product, it took me around 2 weeks to complete! However, I'm quite satisfied with the end product~ now the screen cleaning cloth & the memory card can all put into the same pouch and the best thing is~ it's not a bulky pouch! LOLx~

Imagine next time the things I carry along with me are all made by me? LOLx~ Cannot imagine~ I also don't think I will be so hardworking.. haha~ But I think this will not be the first and last pouch ba.. keke~

AIA CNY Celebration

Well, since it's CNY, obviously there must be some decorations to be done in the office. After most of the decorations are done, my boss said that the wall in her room is kinda plain with just the CNY deco... And so~ I took some red packets and started to paste it onto the wall, trying my best to make it look like branches. The flowers & butterflies were added in the following days... well, I must say.. still not too bad right? Haha~

Started work on the fifth day of CNY, saw one of my friends from other Agency taking pictures, I also follow suit.. haha. I took out my Nokia handphone and started to snap pictures. The "Lou Hey" started at around 10.40am followed by lion dance around the Agencies. Our agency was a little quiet today, so I got a chance to go off early at around 5pm with my boss's approval, since in office also nothing to do......
The picture with me standing alone was taken at home with the help of my brother~ I think I had a new look this 2009 =D Must maintain~ lolx...

Baking Pineapple Tarts

Ok, since I have non-edible stuffs like God of Fortune & "Ong Lai" for CNY. Now it's time for some edible stuffs for CNY - Pineapple Tarts~~~~ It's been about 3-4 years since I last baked something because of the oven which R.I.P. So~ when the house's microwave R.I.P during Christmas, I bought an OVEN home to replace it! MUAHAHAHAHA~~~ Finally I can bake again!!!
The first thing I baked was.. pineapple tarts since CNY was around the corner. My first tray of pineapple tarts were not nice at all, the pineapple paste turn out very hard.. lolx.. guess my baking skill went rusty. However, I did not give up! After my second tray of tarts was better than the first one and the third was better than the second~ I've been baking pineapple tarts for the past few Fridays and Saturdays for my mum to give her friends.
Oh, by the way, the pineapple paste was bought off shelf and it taste great! Save the hassle of making my own pineapple paste + save time also! Haha~ I'm so happy that I can bake again!!!! Slowly I will bake more and more things.. keke~

CNY is coming, hence God of Fortune is also along the way to bring me fortune! Haha~ Had a long time figuring out on how should I attach the head to the body. Even though I managed to get the head attached to the body, I'm also not sure whether it's the correct way.. but... who cares?! Lolx, as long as the head is nicely attached can already, right? Wakakakaka~

Yes yes~ It's the same watch. But the previous design doesn't really suits my wrist size. The first time I made it, the watch was just nice for my wrist only (can say it's tight fitting). So, I decided to lengthen it a little bit more.. then it end up too big for my wrist.. =_= Had a "long" weekend last week, came out with this design which I like it very much. However, it's a very very tedious design, I wanted to give up every now and then, because it's very tiring.... But, managed to force myself to complete it. And there it is! The sense of fulfillment was SUPER GREAT! =D

Christmas Gift for the ladies in the Office

This is the Christmas gift (other than the one for gift exchange) for the ladies in the office. I starting making these necklaces since October, and I've made 15 of them! Luckily I've started early, if not confirm cannot finish on time. Also take into account that I might not be able to find the alphabet charms that I wanted and time taken for them to re-stock. Just in time for Christmas~ The girl that sell charm can even recognize me.. haha.. can imagine how frequent I went to the store.. lolx~ I hope the ladies are happy with this Christmas gift~ Imagine the ladies in the same agency wearing the same kind of necklace, should be fun & interesting.

Talking about yesterday Christmas party. I really had a very fun time. After the food and gift exchange, we suddenly became little kids with a can of Flying Snow spray and starting chasing and spraying each other! Haha, it was so fun! One of the guy look like snowman after being attacked by us. Lolx. Will be having another celebration today~ Wishing all a MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS in advance!!! ENJOY~ Cheers~

Teddy Bear

Using 4mm Bicone beads for the yellow bear & 5mm round beads for the blue bear. The blue bear was the one in the gift exchange present. Hoho, the melody earring was hooked onto the bear's ear & the bracelet went around the neck of the bear to make it look like a scarf. Forgotten to take a picture of it. =_= My colleagues say the yellow bear look like Winnie the Pooh because of the colour. Haha.

A pair of My Melody Earring using 1mm beads. Had a session of Christmas gift exchange yesterday. So this pair of Earring was included in the gift as well, it's an additional gift together with a bracelet & a bear. I find it very cute, thinking weather to make one for myself or not.. haha. However, after much thought, I think it should be an exclusively only for the person who receive this gift ba. ^-^ I know she will like it and she will wear it~ =D

Angel Teddy (Teddy Bear with Wings)

Based on the previous post on what I've said about the order. I finally managed to come out a teddy bear with a pair of wings! And luckily, it looks quite nice! Haha, anyway, my client was very happy with this teddy bear. Consider it as a good job done! =D I also want to make one for myself, keke. Since I will be having a long weekend, I can use it to make one Angel Teddy for myself~~~~

Mandarin Orange

A year has passed by unknowingly, very soon it will be CNY again. I went to the shop that sell beads last week and saw the boss making these mandarin oranges. Find it very nice so I stood there and "steal knowledge".. haha.. After some figuring and some information from the boss, I went home and figure the rest on myself. And there it is~ lolx.. I brought it back to the shop and let the boss see, and he said I did correctly... wakakaka.. Think my "system" (brain) is getting better every time I do something. My "system" can now capture image and key in data.. lolx..

Angel & Teddy Bear

Teddy Bear - Did this using 2mm Beads, so the bear end up kinda small, can use as a handphone chain. Did this over the weekend, was very happy over it, so I brought it to show it to my colleagues on Monday & Tuesday. However, I lost the bear after the morning meeting on Tuesday. T_T Sad arhhhhhhhh!!! Haiz... no choice but to go home and try to do another one... T_T

Angel - One of my client requested for an Angel with big wings. I search around but only to find majority of the Angels are with small wings. So I'll have to pick abit here and there for the wing and attach it to the body of the Angel. Luckily, it still look like an angel ^-^

Before I end this post.. my client end up wanting the bear but with wings attached on it. I realize my this client like to test me...

Dog with Bone

I had this friend to work in a provision shop that I frequent nearly every week after my breakfast. I decided to make something for her after she tell me that the shop will be closed down for some other purposes. I remember she like this rainbow dog when I show her all the beadings that I've done. So I decided to make one for her too but this time round, the little doggie came along with a tiny dog bone~! Since the doggie is made of 3mm beads, so obviously the dog bone cannot be bigger than the doggie right? Hence, the dog bone is made of 1mm beads. If I say I got no problem in making it, I will be lying.. LOLx.. I'm cursing and swearing while making the done bone.. because the beads are toooooooo small. However, it look very cute after completing it. =D

A Birthday Gift

Don't be mistaken.. I only make the belt of the watch. Had a long and hard time thinking what design is better for the belt before finally decided to use this. The outcome was not too bad. Bracelet Again

These are the 2 orders that I've completed and collected money liao! Haha.. These 2 bracelets are made using 2x crystals, meaning, it will really blink blink. And the cost of these crytals are more expensive that the normal ones.. LoLx, so only the customer ask for it, I myself use the normal one =x This bracelet is not cheap, because the material cost is already a bomb for my standard. Hoho~ But if you think you have no idea on what to give your girlfriend and has spare cash, this is a not a bad gift right? Keke~ Also my packaging upgrade liaoz, now come with nice boxes.. hoho~

This is my latest masterpiece. LOLx, fell in love with this bracelet the first time I saw it in the shop I frequent to buy beads. Consider quite long whether to learn or not to learn, because the total cost of the crystal beads for this bracelet is around $30+. Well, I end up deciding on learning it because it is toooooooooooo nice for me to reject and also unable to figure it out on my own. Haha~ the bracelet in the third picture is made using 2mm beads with a arrangement of the colours. I already got 2 orders for this bracelet liaoz. So Happy~!~!~!~!~

I made this using acrylic beads, actually it look good on its own. And I manage to modify the ending to something nicer & easier, so happy~ =D Eh, that hand is confirmed not mine, that hand belong to my lady boss.. I where got such nice hand? LOL~

Executive Makeover Session with Agency Team

Had an "Executive Makeover Session" with agency team last week. Hoho~ It's been such a long time since I went for a makeover session. Luckily I slim down abit liaoz~ If not the picture will look horrible I assume.. haha~ Since it was agency activity, so the team of 6 including me, took turns to makeup and take individual pictures before having the group picture taken. By the time everything was done, it was already 8 pm+ and to think that I'm one of the first batch to go in de (reach there around 2.30pm. Tiring day... It was about 10pm when I reached home. Had a hard time trying to remove all the makeup from my face. No wonder I don't like to makeup. Haha~ No wonder I dislike to makeup but also due to my face abit sensitive lah, get abit itchy after makeup.. want to scratch the face yet cannot. Most of the people think the 2nd picture look best. Of course lah! That one is with touch up! Ugly girl like me will only look nice after touch up! But this is the first time I look so professional.. haha.. like going to report news on TV like that. I think I would like to go for a wild makeover look, if there's promotion somewhere =x

KL: Let me see your face with makeup.
ZE: Orh..
KL: Eh, you look nice with makeup, must makeup more.
ZE: Boss, this kind of look hor, long long time see once is surprise and will look nice. Everyday let you see then you will think it's normal liaoz.

LOL~ Seriously lah.. I really dislike to makeup due to my sensitive skin and laziness (yes~ I admit that, lolx~). And to spend so much money on cosmetics meant for sensitive skin? I rather spend on other things to pamper myself. =x However, what will happen to my mindset in the future, no one knows, including me, but I know that I won't do it at the moment. Wakakaka~ Sorry boss, have to disappoint you. =x

Ice Cream Sundae

Does it look like a sundae? The spoon charm I had was kinda small for this sundae, that's way I have to make one out of beads. Was struggling and killing brain cells on how to make a spoon out of beads..... zzzzz... As most of you know, I never go to any beading classes, all self study then trial and error one. So it's a difficult task to create something out of nothing ... =_= So end up.. anyhow make... ugly also no choice =_=

A Slice of Cake

Seriously speaking, when I finish making the cake without the cherry & fork, it don't look like a piece of cake to me........ T_T When I add in a piece of cherry on top of the cake, was quite amazed that it do give a different feeling, at least it look a little bit like a cake now. Without thinking too much, I complete the whole thing with a chain and a fork as decoration. I brought it out to show one of my friends, then she say want to buy, hoho~ But I gave it to her instead of selling her. ^-^ I'm happy as long as got people appreciate my work. =D

Yeah~ As I've said, I'm engrossed in making bags nowadays, this is my latest bag! Haha, at first I was only thinking of making bags, but when I make more, I thought of making smaller bags. And so, he previous post was out, bag with 2mm beads. Now, I finally made a bag with 1mm beads!! Guess you can see from the picture that it's really kinda small, but~ yeap!!! Hmmx, was thinking of making something even smaller, guess I used the wrong beads. Haha~ Never mind, will try again using 1mm beads then see what size it will come out. Keke~ Keep a lookout~!
